Solar Glass Plants

Plain Glass or Patterned Glass is used in solar module manufacturing. Reducing the reflection of photovoltaic modules is a valuable way to increase module power. This can be accomplished at the module fabrication level by using glass with antireflection (AR) coatings or with textured front surfaces. The AR coatings reduce reflections from the air/glass interface, while patterened glasses accomplish both this and in addition reduce the effective reflection from the solar cells and backsheet surfaces through total internal reflection at the glass/air interface. Patterned Glass is made by passing it through rollers that have patterns on them. The pattern is transferred to one or both sides of the glass. Different patterns are patented and produced by various manufacturers. Depending on its use, it can be laminated to use for safety glass as well. We provide turnkey project services for setting-up Solar Glass manufacturing plants from conceptual stage through technology selection and sizing the investment, plant design, engineering, procurement, erection and commissioning of the plant into commercial production with single point responsibility.
