CORE SECTOR INFORMATION

Product, Process and Market
Connected as One Plant.

Sodium silicate is produced by melting silica sand and soda ash, cooling the melt into solid glass and, where required, dissolving it under pressure to produce liquid grades. Precipitated silica production adds controlled precipitation, filtration, washing, drying and product handling. Frits are melted compositions quenched into a non-crystalline fragmented material for ceramic, enamel, glass and glaze applications. GLINDCO integrates these process stages with the required material-handling and downstream systems.

The plant concept must balance product specification, production volume, flexibility, energy, raw materials, quality systems, operating capability and the route to market. GLINDCO translates those connected requirements into a clear design basis and executable project plan.
