Project Design Basis

Container glass serves beverage, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, perfumery and other packaging applications. Products are normally made in soda-lime glass in flint, amber and green, with additional colours possible through forehearth colouring. GLINDCO integrates the complete plant from project definition and technology selection through commercial production.

For beverage & food, the project basis is refined around product specification, composition, production volume, forming route, quality requirements, raw materials, energy, operating capability and target market. These inputs determine the appropriate plant configuration, technology route and investment basis.
