WHO WE ARE

From Project Concept to Stable Production

GLINDCO is the registered glass-industry brand of Planet Ceramica Pvt Ltd, founded in 2004 to provide dependable engineering, equipment and turnkey project-delivery solutions to the global glass industry. We support projects from feasibility, technology selection and investment planning through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and production stabilisation.

Our experience covers new glass plants, expansions, rebuilds and performance-improvement projects across major glass segments. GLINDCO's purpose is to transform viable glass-industry opportunities into efficient, competitive and commercially successful manufacturing operations. We measure project success not only by completion, but by the plant's ability to achieve stable and sustainable production.

THE GLINDCO APPROACH

Built on Engineering Rigour,
Accountable Delivery

Select any pillar below to explore how GLINDCO coordinates technology, contracts, schedule and plant performance as one unified partner.

Glass Industry Specialists

Project, technology, engineering and operational knowledge brought together under one experienced team.

GLINDCO is built exclusively for the glass manufacturing industry. Unlike generic engineering contractors, our technical leadership and project managers bring direct operational backgrounds across container, float, solar, pharmaceutical, tableware and special glass manufacturing.

We understand the practical complexities of raw-material chemistry, high-temperature glass melting, refractory wear, forming kinematics and cold-end inspection. This allows us to translate commercial requirements into resilient engineering decisions without costly learning curves.

  • Specialized across container, float, solar, pharma, tableware and technical glass
  • Deep multidisciplinary know-how bridging process, civil, mechanical and electrical
  • Eliminates vendor communication silos and protects client capital investment
  • Real-world operational experience embedded into every design and layout

End-to-End Responsibility

One integrated partner from feasibility and technology selection through execution and stabilisation.

Glass plant projects frequently suffer when divided between separate consultants, equipment suppliers and civil contractors who pass responsibility when problems arise. GLINDCO acts as your single accountable partner throughout the entire investment journey.

From bankable feasibility studies and technology evaluations to site supervision, equipment erection, commissioning and production ramp-up, our team maintains unbroken ownership over project scope, quality and commercial milestones.

  • Unified single-point accountability across EPC / EPCM project models
  • Seamless transition from feasibility and engineering to site commissioning
  • Rigorous interface management eliminating contractor scope gaps
  • Long-term commitment extending beyond mechanical completion to full production

Vendor-Neutral Approach

Solutions evaluated against product, quality, energy, investment and lifecycle requirements.

GLINDCO is not an exclusive agent or captive supplier for any single machinery brand. We evaluate technology packages with total objectivity, benchmarked against your target bottle or sheet quality, production speed, local energy costs and project budget.

Our engineers compare European, Asian and domestic equipment alternatives to find the optimal balance of technological precision, capital expenditure and long-term lifecycle operating costs.

  • Independent, unbiased equipment evaluation tailored to client requirements
  • Comparative CAPEX, OPEX and lifecycle cost modeling across global suppliers
  • Optimized hybrid packages combining premium forming with cost-effective auxiliaries
  • Transparent procurement and contract negotiations on the owner's behalf

Integrated Project Engineering

Every critical interface—from process and civil to automation and utilities—coordinated as one plant.

A modern glass factory is a tightly coupled thermodynamic, mechanical and chemical system. Batch plant elevators, furnace combustion, cooling water loops, compressed air, IS machines, lehrs and inspection lines must work in absolute harmony.

GLINDCO coordinates all disciplines through detailed 3D spatial modeling, interface schedules and centralized engineering control, catching layout clashes and piping errors on the screen before they cause expensive field modifications.

  • Multidisciplinary 3D clash detection across civil, mechanical and piping
  • Harmonized utilities sizing: industrial gas, electrical substations and water loops
  • Integrated automation, supervisory SCADA and safety interlocks
  • Standardized environmental controls, flue gas treatment and cullet return systems

Fast-Track Execution

Practical engineering, early planning and disciplined site coordination reduce avoidable project delays.

Time to market is essential for capital-intensive glass manufacturing plants. GLINDCO employs parallel execution strategies, starting civil foundation design and infrastructure procurement simultaneously with primary furnace and batch package engineering.

Our site management framework coordinates vendor deliveries, crane lifts, refractory brickwork and mechanical alignment with rigorous milestone discipline, keeping your project firmly on the critical path.

  • Overlapping engineering and procurement to shorten critical path timelines
  • Rigorous milestone tracking and logistics management for long-lead items
  • Full-time site management and experienced quality inspection teams
  • Cold dry trials and system pre-commissioning prior to furnace heat-up

Performance Beyond Commissioning

Hands-on involvement continues through ramp-up, quality, yield and production stabilisation.

Most contractors conclude their mandate the day the first glass bottle is formed. GLINDCO's engineers remain on site through thermal expansion, hot cullet charging, speed ramp-up and commercial production stabilisation.

We work side-by-side with your local plant engineers to establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), fine-tune forehearth temperature profiles, optimize gob weights, and steadily raise pack-to-melt yield to reach design performance.

  • Hands-on furnace heat-up, crown expansion control and glass filling oversight
  • Gob consistency, thermal profiling and forming speed optimization
  • Structured operator training and customized SOP development for local crews
  • Sustained advisory to maximize pack-to-melt efficiency and minimize energy/ton

OUR FOUNDER

Experience Shaped by Plants and Projects

GLINDCO was founded by Rajendra Prasad Movva, an experienced glass-industry professional and project leader with more than two decades of exposure to plant operations, technology evaluation, engineering and EPC/EPCM project execution.

His experience across operating plants and project environments shaped GLINDCO's practical, performance-oriented approach: every engineering decision must work not only on drawings, but also on the plant floor. Under his leadership, GLINDCO has developed into an integrated project partner supporting clients from initial concept to stable commercial production.
